On the 25th of April, The Manumar Foundation, SLNI, Rotary club Bottrop-Wittringen and Rotary Club Bielefield-Sued Germany also supported by the Primary Health Care Centers carried out a community program at Primary Health Care Centers of Jipal, Chakfem & Kombun communities, Mangu LG, Plateau State.
The program was aimed at educating the pregnant women as they got to know new things that were beneficial to both their babies and themselves. The program was a huge success as the women were really appreciative towards Manumar Foundation and SLNI and other organizations in partnership with them for organizing such a program in rural community for pregnant women who cannot afford a standard health care for their pregnancies. Distributions of the 300 birthing kits & mosquito nets were helpful as it will help them during delivery and after.
