His Royal Highness (HRH) DR. Haliru Yahaya is the Emir of Shonga in Edu Local Government Area of Kwara State and former Chairman National Primary Health Care Development Agency. He Advocated for proper attention to Primary Healthcare, proper funding of the sector with a view to ensuring qualitative healthcare services for the people. He is a strong advocate for eradication of most diseases, especially Polio, Guinea-Worm, Leprosy.
