The 67th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW67), held from March 6–17, 2023, focused on the role of innovation and technology in achieving gender equality.
As the largest annual UN gathering on women’s rights, CSW67 addressed global challenges impacting women and girls — from rising gender-based violence to the effects of crises in regions such as Afghanistan, Ukraine, and Iran.
The session’s outcomes guide governments, civil society, and the private sector in ensuring the full participation of women and girls in shaping inclusive and rights-based digital innovation.
