Silver Lining Initiative Marked 16th Anniversary with Community Health Outreach

Silver Lining Initiative commemorated its 16th anniversary by conducting a community health outreach in Nasarawa State on 24 June 2025.
The outreach provided free malaria screening, blood pressure checks, and health education sessions for community members. Pregnant women also received birthing kits, while children and adolescents participated in educational and recreational activities designed to promote wellbeing.
The event also highlighted the organization’s Vaccination Initiative Targeting Adolescent Lives (VITAL) project, which promotes HPV vaccination among girls aged 9–14 to reduce the risk of cervical cancer.
The anniversary outreach reinforced Silver Lining Initiative’s commitment to improving health and wellbeing among vulnerable communities.
