Silver Lining Initiative carried out a maternal and child health outreach program at a Primary Healthcare Centre in Jigawa.
The outreach brought together caregivers and expectant mothers for health education sessions focused on routine antenatal care, immunization, and safe delivery practices. Participants engaged in discussions on important health topics including folic acid use, cervical cancer prevention, HPV vaccination, and free blood pressure checks.
As part of the intervention, Silver Lining Initiative distributed birthing kits to pregnant women, providing essential materials to support safer deliveries, particularly in low-resource settings.
The outreach aimed to empower women with practical knowledge and resources to improve maternal and child health outcomes in their communities.
