On the 14th October 2017 , The Manumar Foundation & SLNI supported by The Primary Health Care centers, went ahead to educate the women on safe delivery, breastfeeding and to also distribute birthing Kits & mosquito nets. Four Hundred (400) Birthing Kits and Mosquito nets were distributed.
On the 28th of September 2017, SLNI in partnership with Rotary Club of Abuja Federal participated in the Rotary family health day. The program took place in Piwoyi community, Abuja. On the 18th of September 2017, SLNI had a birthing kit program in Sundimina PHC, Birin Kudu, Jigawa State. Two hundred (200) birthing kits were distributed at the program.
From the 9th to 10th of August, SLNI in Partnership with Jigawa Young Professional Forum (JYPF) and Google conducted digital skills training for the empowerment of youths at Jahun and Kafin Hausa. 1,000 youths participated in the training.

Manumar Foundation also supported by the primary health care carried out a community program on the 19th of August 2017 (world humanitarian day) at primary Health Care Centers in plateau state. The program was set to educate pregnant women on safe delivery, hygiene during pregnancy as this will help in reducing maternal and child health
