We celebrated Career Day at Government Junior Secondary School Kabusa with an energetic outreach event in partnership with the Women and Girl Child Development and Empowerment Initiative. This event aimed to inspire students to pursue their dreams and tackle learning challenges.
Empowering Speeches and Support
The program featured motivating speeches from leaders, including a representative of the Director of the Basic Education Board, Mercy, Bamidele, Aisha, and the Principal. These talks encouraged students to aspire towards their goals. Scholarships were awarded to students for outstanding debate performances, while all participants received a stipend to support their education.
Health and Wellness Focus
Nurse Aisha highlighted the importance of nutrition, hygiene, and rest for academic success. She also conducted health checks, measuring students’ height and weight to calculate their BMI, ensuring their overall well-being.
Celebrating Creativity
The event was vibrant with dance, music, and poetry performances, showcasing the students’ creativity and talent. These activities not only entertained but also uplifted and motivated the participants.
Gratitude and Commitment
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Women and Girl Child Development and Empowerment Initiative for organizing this impactful event. Together, we remain committed to empowering and inspiring the next generation of leaders.
