Vitamin Angels

On the 14-16 march, 2017 Silver Lining for the Needy Initiative (SLNI), partnered with Rotaract club of Abuja Federal to carry out a program sponsored by Vitamin Angels which was focused mainly on administration of vitamin A to children from 12-59 months and also to de-worm the children.

Ms. Martha a staff from SLNI introduced SLNI, talking about the work we do. She said SLNI’s primary focus is serving mothers and babies.

Mr Anthony Ugonna, the president of the Rotaract club appreciated SLNI for their support to the Rotaract club. Ms. Alhassan Martha monitored the members of the Rotaract club as they administered the vitamin A supplement and the De-worming drugs. She further advised them to use hand sanitizers after giving the supplement to the children.

The program was a great success due to the encouraging turnout of the Rotaract members to the program. The primary aim of the program was achieved and the school we visited appreciated the effort of the Rotaract club, while some people also showed their interest in joining the club.
