SLNI in conjunction with Alhaji Zamu Basu Mamaki carried out an antenatal outreach activity in donating birth kits to Primary health Care center in Kumbo and Marraraba community under Donga LGA of Taraba State on behalf of expectant mothers.
Expectant mothers and the general community were educated about the health conditions of a pregnant woman and how best to take care of themselves while in that phase. To commemorate the day, on behalf of expectant mothers Kumbo PHC received 200 pieces of birthing kits from Alhaji Zamu Basu Mamaki in collaboration with Silver Lining for the Needy Initiative. Birthing kits consists of diapers, milk, and other pregnancy items to assist them during birth.
The antenatal sensitization program was duly executed with the effective distribution of the birthing kits to Kumbo PHC, Donga LGA of Taraba State. This was measured by the reactions and eagerness of the attendees.
