On May 8, 2024, the Silver Lining for the Needy Initiative (SLNI) launched its second impactful program at Hadejia General Hospital, Jigawa State, focused on enhancing maternal and child health. The event, themed “Empowering Maternal and Child Healthcare,” aimed to address critical healthcare needs in the region.

The initiative brought together key figures, including Mallam Bala, Hauwa Ayuba, Midwife Aisha Yunusa, and Programs Assistant Hamza Abubakar, to provide vital resources and knowledge to the community.

A key highlight was the distribution of birthing kits to 83 expectant mothers, ensuring safer deliveries. Additionally, 25 women benefited from free ultrasound scans, sponsored by SLNI, the Ty Danjuma Foundation, and Rotary.
