HIV Outreach Programme

Silver Lining for the Needy Initiative held a free HIV community testing campaign at Wuse 2 on February 23 and March 15, 2023. The program was handled by a SLNI nurse and her associate, who were the only two individuals who were strictly involved in the testing. Twenty-eight (28) individuals were tested, and during the process, all HIV testing rules were followed, all data was kept private, and each individual was given the opportunity to sign a consent form before we took their photo or not.

The day was commemorated by the distribution of free condoms donated by Silver Lining for Needy Initiative. The condom was given to curb the spread of HIV/AIDS, reduce the high rate of HIV positives in society, and practice safe sex.
