The parallel event, titled ‘Adult Education’s Role in Rural Development and Household Transformation,’ involved participants in discussions regarding how educational programs for adults can have a positive impact on society.
Hauwa Abbas, Chief Operations Officer of SLNI, and Mrs. Ajanihu Ngozi Ezeala of POWER Foundation co-moderated the event. They welcomed an array of esteemed speakers who delved into the nexus of adult literacy, poverty reduction, and women’s empowerment.
“The insights shared today reaffirm the critical role of adult education in driving progress in rural communities and elevating the status of women and families,” Abbas remarked.
