On 7th May, 2022, SLNI in conjunction with Chief Mrs. Shimite Bello carried out an antenatal class for expectant mothers.
The program held in Oshmili North in Delta State.
Expectant mothers who showed up in their numbers were educated about the health conditions of a pregnant woman and how best to take care of themselves while in that phase.
To commemorate the day, expectant mothers received from the 100 pieces of birthing kits from Silver Lining for the Needy Initiative birthing kits consisting of diapers, milk, and other pregnancy items to assist them during birth.
The antenatal sensitization program was duly executed with the effective distribution of the birthing kits to expectant mothers.
This was measured by the reactions and eagerness of the attendees.
