On 21 st November, 2022 SLNI carried out an antenatal class for expectant mothers, the program was handled by SLNI Nurses at the Piwoyi primary health care center, Piwoyi town in Abuja. Expectant mothers were educated about the health conditions of a pregnant woman and how best to take care of themselves, importance of exclusive breast feeding, the effect of malaria in pregnancy. The day was commemorated by expectant mothers receiving birthing kit donated by Silver Lining for the Needy Initiative, free malaria test for pregnant women and widows, cash gift to three pregnant women who participated in the lucky draw section, cash gift to the widows. The Birthing kit items is to assist the pregnant women during child birth. During the outreach, SLNI donated 41 delivery kits to pregnant women at Piwoyi Primary Health Center in Abuja.
