On the 12th of September 2023, SLNI carried out a street campaign on vaccine hesitancy at Wuse 2, FCT. Both men, women and youths most importantly educated on the importance of being vaccinated. They were informed verbally and through the use of infographics on the use of vaccines, myths and facts, components of vaccines and the side effects.
The main purpose of the street campaign is to combat vaccine hesitancy, address the common misconception about vaccines and spread awareness of the upcoming HPV launch.
The program was successful as SLNI staff were able to reach over fifty (50) individuals, the respondents showed eagerness and readiness to take their vaccines as we were able to address their fears.
